Agency Program & Staff Spotlight - Counseling

Overview: Counseling Program

Catholic Charities Counseling Program offers general outpatient mental health services in several locations in the western half of North Carolina on behalf of the Diocese of Charlotte. The counselors strive to meet clients where they are in their personal journey and help them address their challenges on a cognitive, behavioral, and emotional level.

In our Charlotte office, we provide individual, family and couples therapy for adults, couples, and older teenagers. We have also provided contract therapy support for a local women’s shelter as part of a contractual integrative health care initiative, where services have been provided licensed professional counselors.

In our Asheville office, we provide individual, family and couples therapy for adult, couples, children and adolescents. Services at this location are provided by a licensed professional counselor who provides bilingual Spanish speaking mental health services.

In our Greensboro and Winston Salem offices, we provide individual, family and couples therapy for adults. Services at this location are provided by a licensed professional counselor who provides mental health services primarily at our Greensboro office and on one day per week in our Winston Salem location.
