I have been a counselor with Catholic Charities Greensboro and Winston Salem offices for 12 years. I find my work with clients to be both rewarding clinically as well as a ministry to help people deal with life’s challenges. I provide outpatient mental health services and have training in Cognitive Behavioral therapy.  I have also received training in Bereavement and Grief along with Suicide Bereavement Clinical training.  I treat depression, anxiety, stress, Tamar Sister trauma training (thru Catholic Charities USA) for women who have experienced loss and trauma in their lives.  In addition, I work with couples experiencing partner relational challenges, with parents of special needs children, and with parents experiencing challenges with their adult children.  I believe in the holistic approach addressing the body, mind and spirit of a person as we seek ways toward growth and assist them toward wellness. In addition, often I am able to help clients find other resources to decrease the stressors in their lives, offering wrap around services which will enhance better outcomes toward managing their lives successfully.
