I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor providing licensed mental health care since 1996. I now have worked with Catholic Charities for the past 12 years. With Catholic Charities I provide clinical supervision and support for licensed counseling staff in four outpatient locations in the Diocese of Charlotte. In addition to this, I provide outpatient mental health services for adults and couples. My primary focus of care is the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, stress and adjustment as well as partner relational problems. Prior to my employment with Catholic Charities, I worked as a mental health practitioner offering outpatient mental health services for private mental health companies and on behalf of the Department of Mental Health in South Carolina. Working in the field of mental health has always brought me great satisfaction, but more satisfying than this has been having the opportunity to serve those who are most vulnerable in our society in a faith-based environment. Knowing that Catholic Charities has as a mission to reach out to those most in need, who without our assistance would likely go without care, is ultimately what brought me to Catholic Charities.
