Jan. 27 - St. Peter Church to host event on Sins of Racism

Catholic Charities would like to share the news of the upcoming Kennedy Lecture at St. Peter Catholic Church (507 S. Tryon Street Charlotte, NC) taking place this Saturday, Jan. 27 starting at 9:00 AM.  The title of the 2018 Kennedy Lecture, sponsored by St. Peter Catholic Church, is “The Gospel Demands It. Confronting the Sins of Racism.”  The presenter is The Most Reverend George Vance Murry, S.J., Bishop of Youngstown, Ohio.  A flyer is available here.  Bishop Murry serves as the Chair of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Ad Hoc Committee Against Racism.
